The India Association(IA) at the Missouri University of Science & Technology (Missouri S&T) (formerly University of Missouri-Rolla (UMR) extends a warm welcome to our visitors. We are a student organization serving the Indian community at Missouri S&T.Our goal is to promote Indian culture, diversity and to provide a platform for interaction between students.
IA is among the leading international student body organizations at Missouri S&T, and is actively involved in organizing cultural and social events on campus throughout the year. Global Showcase
Indian culture is rich and diverse and as a result unique in its very own way. The South, North, and Northeast have their own distinct cultures and almost every state has carved out its own cultural niche. There is hardly any culture in the world that is as varied and unique as India. In Global Showcase we presented our cultureto students of different countries from around the world. We showcased our artifacts , our Gods,Our clothes and various other things. We not only rocked the floor by our dance but we also encouraged others to participate. We servedthem a very famous Indian sweet‘sonpapdi’.We were a huge success at the Global Showcase.

The India Association at Missouri S&T donated a mobile dental clinic for children, to SMILE foundation during Summer of 2008.
India Association is glad to announce that it was awarded with the Most Improved Organization award at the Fourth Annual Student Leaders’ Banquet. Special credit goes to our STUCO Representative for this efforts.We would like to thank all the members of the India Association for their efforts and contributions.
